El Gringo De La Bachata & Nengo Flow
On the same historic night that reggaetoneros Plan B performed a sold out show at Madison Square Garden in New York, musica urbana and bachata lovers alike in the D.C. area were also in for a special treat when El Gringo De La Bachata and Ñengo Flow performed en vivo y directo on Friday, 2/6 at The Palace in Woodbridge, VA. Hosted by Mauricio Molina along with DJ Fatboi, the DMV was in good hands throughout the night as they kept the party going. El Gringo and his 5-piece crew started at around midnight and bachateros mingled up front feeling the force of his gifted voice in front of the stage where they gladly showed off their moves. As the night lingered on the crowd grew and so did the anticipation for Ñengo. It was obvious that he was in the atmosphere since members of his detail stood out among others as they prepared magic behind-the-scenes, laced in the freshest urban gear. When it was time for Ñengo to come out, there was no denying that this was the highlight of the night. He was dressed in a black and white sweat suit mixed in with red and black. He performed his part from “Llegamos A La Disco”, “Na Na Na”, “Que Quieres De Mi”, “Alucinando” and other fan favs. As if two shows in one at The Palace wasn’t enough - it was announced that Farruko would be returning to the DMV and that Ñengo would be taking photos with fans after the show!
